If the student is receiving legal services pro-bono, if their sole source of income is disability and/or they can show hardship, 123Debtor.com makes scholarships available to students unable to pay the fee. The fee may be waived by providing the requested information from the appropriate parties. 123Debtor.com will possibly reduce or waive the Pre-discharge Debtor Education fees for students whose household income is less than 150% of the estimated poverty threshold for their applicable family size as published by the Bureau of the Census. NOTE:
- The income for comparison to the poverty guidelines is the "Total Combined Monthly Income" as reported (or as will be reported) on Line 16 of Schedule I of the bankruptcy petition.
- Non-cash governmental assistance (such as food stamps or housing subsidies) is not included in calculating debtor income.
- The income of a spouse is included in calculating income whether or not a joint petition is filed, unless the spouses are separated and a joint petition is not filed.
The income of any other family member listed on Schedule I as a dependent also is included.

Upon registration, the debtor student must provide their bankruptcy case number including the Federal Judicial District in which the case was filed. The course is provided to debtor students without regard to the student's ability to pay the fee of $9.89 (for singles) or $19.69 (for couples). The educational and training background of all 123 Debtor training instructors either meets or exceeds standards of the Executive Office for the United States Trustees, U.S. Department of Justice.
Upon completion of this course, 123debtor.com will provide a certificate of course completion to the debtor student.
Nothing herein shall apply to actions or claims under the provisions of the United States Bankruptcy Code, 11 U.S.C. Sec 101.
The Provider does not pay or receive fees or other considerations for referrals.
Course materials are provided through the Internet via an interactive learning module. The course can be accessed 24 hours a day / 7 days a week and 365 days a year. However, site support is limited to certain hours of operation. Upon successful completion of the briefing or course, the approved Providers will issue a certificate of completion to the debtor.
A Special Note About Children: Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under the age of 16) do not submit any personal information to us or use the service. 123debtor.com does not collect or maintain information from those actually known to be under the age of 16, and no part of the Web site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 16.

(b) Technical information we collect. In order for 123debtor.com to ensure that we are providing the best possible consumer experience on the Web site, we collect and track certain user information. When you visit the Web site, our Web server may send a cookie to your computer. This cookie stores a limited amount of information about your site visit. (a) Deleting your information. Federal and state regulations may require that we store completed Submissions for various periods of time. In order to comply with these regulations, we may be unable to delete information from our databases.
